Single record search or look-ups (Census, birth, marriage, etc.) are priced on request.

Detailed family research; the hourly rate is $ 27.00 per hour (CDN $), with a minimum of four hours.

Additional research may also be commissioned for an agreed extended period of time at $ 25.00 per hour.

With the hourly plans, certified copies of birth, marriage, and death certificates, if required, are supplied at cost.

I recommend clients purchase the four hour minimum package at the onset. Four hours is often enough time to solve a simple enquiry problem and identify the first couple of generations. It can also provide insight into the cost of a more complex family search. Research time also includes time spent on problem analysis and the production of reports.

Terms:
• Record search or look-up – payment in full, in advance
• Initial four hour research plan – payment in full, in advance
• More extensive commissioned research – 50% deposit of the agreed price is required in advance
